Meet the Founder

Insley Ettienne

Founder & Director

I founded Cosil Solutions to provide independent strategic dispute consultancy and civil & commercial mediation for clients navigating complex or sensitive disputes.

My work draws on more than 20 years’ experience across dispute resolution, complaints, governance, housing, property and complex case management.

I help clients understand the issues, manage risk and identify a clear, proportionate route forward before disputes become more costly or entrenched.

Professional Background

Insley Ettienne brings more than 20 years' experience across dispute resolution, complaints, governance, housing, property and complex case management. Her work has included policy and procedure, leasehold and compliance review, service charge matters, disrepair, breach of lease, complaint investigations, tribunal preparation and stakeholder disputes.

This combination of operational, advisory and dispute experience enables Cosil Solutions to examine how the facts, records, communication and wider risks connect. Housing and property remain recognised areas of expertise, while the practice supports complex civil, commercial, workplace, community and organisational disputes across sectors.

Professional Experience

Since 2003

Supporting housing and property matters across policy, compliance, leasehold management, resident services and dispute resolution.

Since 2013

Leading complex disputes, complaint investigations, tribunal preparation and high-risk case reviews.

Today

Providing independent mediation, strategic dispute consultancy and evidence-based support to help clients make informed decisions before disputes become more costly or entrenched.

Our Approach

Each matter begins with a structured review of the facts, records, risks and points in dispute. This helps establish what is known, what is missing and what needs to happen next.

Cosil Solutions then supports clients to consider the most appropriate route, whether that involves mediation, strategic consultancy, complaint review, professional input or another proportionate next step.

The aim is to provide clarity, reduce unnecessary escalation and help clients make informed decisions with confidence.

The Practice

Cosil Solutions supports individuals, businesses, organisations, public bodies and professional partners when a dispute has escalated, stalled or requires independent scrutiny.

Work may involve civil & commercial mediation, strategic dispute consultancy, complaint and evidence review, tribunal preparation, professional support or dispute-readiness training. Housing and property are recognised areas of expertise, but the practice is not limited to those sectors.

Every engagement is defined by a clear scope, proportionate process and practical objective.

The R.E.S.O.L.V.E. Framework

The R.E.S.O.L.V.E. Framework provides a consistent method for reviewing the facts, examining risk, testing options and identifying a proportionate next step. It helps clients move from uncertainty or entrenched positions towards informed decisions and practical action.
